Setting up after lockdown

An army of willing volunteers came in on Tuesday 30 June to set up the playing room for our post-lockdown opening.

We spent the morning polishing silverware, touching up the paintwork, throwing out old books and documents, arranging tables, installing a paper towel dispenser, finding the library shelves could not be replaced in the cabinet, washing the windows, stocking up the new director’s desk, checking the picture rail, things like that. We are still not too sure which direction really is North.
