News from earlier tournaments

A number of Waikanae players played in the Otaki Multigrade tournament on Sunday 27 May.   Vicky Young with Lorraine Gaffaney came a fine 7th overall and took the prize for the top Intermediate pair.  Nicky Bradley with Adrienne Dale were the top Intermediate/Junior pair. 

Congratulations to Anne Wolf and Anne Verboeket who won the Junior Tournament at Upper Hutt on 29 April.  They won with 61.72%.

On 25 March five of our members played in the Intermediate tournament at Kairangi.  Best result was a session placing and a bottle of wine each for Vicky Young and Adrienne Dale.

Several of our members played in the Kapi Mana Junior/Intermediate tournament on 18 March 2018.  Anne Verboeket and Anne Wolf gained an impressive second place in the Junior section and came fifth overall against the Intermediates.    Congratulations, Anne and Anne.  

On the same day a number of our Open players competed in the Open tournament in Paraparaumu.  Well done Judy Plimmer, Jeanne Wardill and Alice Stevenson for our club's best placings of 10th and 11th.
